Who am I?

I’m Bu.

BSc (HONS) Environmental Hazards and Disaster Management.

Freelance illustrator and designer. Crocheter and occasional photographer. UK based, — ok, you might be thinking ‘why the BSc?’ well, that’s because at 19 years old, like a lot of people, I was too young to make a definitive career choice.

I care about the environment and wanted to understand it more, with the outlook of how to educate people, to help themselves and the environment we all live in.

Art and design has always been my passion, it’s what got me through life, gave me something to focus on outside of academia. Like many, I was told art won’t get you anywhere, you’ll be a “starving artist”.

Now I know this isn’t totally true. Art can take me wherever I want it to take me, so here I am. A ’96 baby, grown up and pursuing my creativity.
